Super Mario Bros Jenga Game [pic]

I never would have dreamed that somebody would combine the games of Super Mario Bros and Jenga but considering how many blocks are in Super Mario Bros, it actually kind of makes sense.  Kind of.

The Japanese game below is called Super Mario Balance Block and it looks to be a Super Mario Bros themed Jenga game with some odd pieces like the mushroom.  Sadly, there are apparently no plans to bring this to the US, but I suppose if you really want it, you can always have it imported from Japan.

Silent Hill Bubble Head Nurse Cosplay [pic]

I’m all for awesome cosplay, but typically I don’t care much about cosplay that is going to give me nightmares like I have a feeling this one might.  This Silent Hill bubble head nurse cosplay is not only creepy, bloody and generally disgusting, but it reminds me of the Silent Hill nurse cake I posted a long time ago.  Whoever is behind this cosplay did an amazing job, and I have you to thank for any nightmares I may suffer because of this awesome costume.

Super Mario Bros, Paper Edition [video]

I remember having to use construction paper for a lot of things in grade school but considering I am not a arts and crafts type person at all, I can’t say I enjoyed it.  However, if we had been given the opportunity to make something as awesome as a paper version of Super Mario Bros like the one in the video below, I might have actually enjoyed it.  It is quite surprising how good the stop motion video below is of a guy that made the first level of Super Mario Bros out of paper.  The only small issue I see with it that keeps it from being 100% accurate is that at the top of the blocks before he jumps over to the flag, he seems to hover a little bit above the blocks which looks kind of strange.  Anyway, check out the amazing stop motion Super Mario Bros out of paper video below!

Plants vs Zombies Pancakes [pic]

Pancakes are one of my favorite breakfast foods, especially the cheesecake variety with strawberries on top but I enjoy almost any kind of pancake in the shape of a video game character.  In this case, we have some Plants vs Zombies pancakes!  I have to admit that I have never played the popular casual game (no interest in anything zombie related), but I know the game has millions of fans that I am sure will enjoy this, especially if they love pancakes.  Personally, I will stick with the Pac-Man pancakes.  What are your favorite kind of pancakes?  Let us know in the comments!

Despite owning both of the Left 4 Dead games, I just can’t seem to get into anything zombie related.  I just find the whole zombie idea to be too unbelievable to be enjoyable.  Regardless about how I feel when it comes to zombies, I will be the first to admit that this Left 4 Dead cosplay is pretty cool!  Sadly, I have a feeling that the beard on that guy is probably fake.  The costumes still look great though!

NES Lunchbox with Controller Handle [pic]

This isn’t the first time that I have posted pictures of somebody making a lunchbox out of an old (and broken) NES console but this one is definitely cooler.  Unlike the first one I posted, this awesome food container has the NES controller for its handle.  This is definitely a cool way of giving the old Nintendo console a new purpose in life but this would be one of the few times that I would actually worry about somebody stealing my lunchbox.

Super Mario Bros Meets Star Wars [pic]

Maybe its just me, but it seems like combining the Super Mario Bros franchise with Star Wars seems kind of odd.  Or at least it did until I saw this amazing picture!  Now it seems like an almost perfect fit!  I kind of like the idea of Donkey Kong playing the roll of Chewbacca.  I think this might actually make for a pretty cool video game concept but I’m sure there is pretty much no chance of ever seeing a Mario/Star Wars game.  I can dream though!

The Graphics Outside Aren’t That Good T-Shirt [pic]

Like most geeks, I generally avoid being outdoors, especially during the hot summer.  I prefer to get my farmers tan from the backlight of my monitor rather  than from the sun.  Also, as this awesome 8-bit t-shirt says, the graphics outside aren’t so good.  Having spent many hours playing the Crysis games, I tend to agree.  If you like this awesome shirt, you can find it for  sale by geekthings on Etsy for $9.99.

World of Warcraft Cosplay: Before and After [pic]

I will likely never be a fan of Wold of Warcraft, but I can certainly appreciate some amazing WoW cosplay.  Actually, this cosplay is amazing for just about anything, not just WoW!  The before and after transformation is jaw dropping.  I’m curious to know how long it took to get completely in costume considering all of the body paint and everything.  The result is definitely sexy!  Have you ever dressed up in cosplay this awesome?  Let us know in the comments!
